Still relying mainly on cars as your primary mode of transportation? To prepare for the arrival of “flying cars,” the new 60-story building rooftop of Paramount Miami Worldcenter has been redesigned into a 5,000-square-foot “Skyport” (SKYPORT), aiming to meet the future urban air traffic demands.

Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) vehicles, known as passenger drones or often referred to as “flying cars,” may in the future utilize cutting-edge technology to land on any residential high-rise. Converting rooftops into Skyports for these VTOLs could mark one of the world’s earliest advancements in transportation innovation.

DAN KODSI, developer of Paramount Miami Worldcenter, believes that the next 10 to 15 years will see a transformation in transportation. Flying cars will travel back and forth at high altitudes, reducing ground traffic congestion and flow, and creating a faster daily commuting experience.
Future residents of Paramount Miami Worldcenter will be able to take sleek glass elevators directly to the private helipad of the luxury building, where on-demand flying vehicles will whisk them away. What currently takes nearly two hours by car from Miami to Palm Beach could take just 30 minutes with the successful deployment of flying vehicles.
