Their blooming season runs from May to August, and they are also commonly used in dried flower arrangements. Here’s a list of ten top hydrangea spots across Taiwan, each bursting with color like a bouquet of floral balloons.

1. Taipei – Yangmingshan’s Zhuzihhu and Shuiche Liao Trail
Zhuzihhu is home to numerous hydrangea farms growing a wide variety of cultivars in richly diverse colors, ranging from pure white and pink with crimson edges to light and deep blues. The farm landscapes feature both large and medium-sized blooms, creating layers of intense, vibrant color that attract many visitors.

1. Uphill Control Points: 8:00-15:00 at “Yangde Boulevard & Zhicheng Intersection” and “Section 2, Zhishan Road, Lane 1 Intersection”
2. Downhill Control Points: 14:00-18:00 at “Yangmingshan Road & Zhongheng Street Intersection” and “Gezhi Road & Kaisyuan Road Intersection”
Zhuzihhu Area Road Controls:
Times: 9:00-18:00
1. From Huti Bridge westward along the Calla Lily Road to the fork leading to Zhongzheng Mountain — flexible one-way clockwise traffic control applied
2. Eastbound from Huti Bridge is two-way, with red lines painted along the entire roadside of the two-way section
3. The Dinghu Section enforces one-way traffic only and no U-turns; vehicles exit toward Yangjin Highway via the flagstone road

2. Taipei – The Grand Terrace Flower Eco-Farm
The Grand Terrace Flower Eco-Farm is a well-known flower-viewing spot in Zhuzihhu. It features well-planned grounds and, thanks to its terraced landscape, offers spacious walking paths for flower viewing and photography, while also helping to protect the hydrangeas from being picked. This year, the site has added romantic scenery elements, attracting many visitors eager to take photos.

3. Taipei – Gao Family Hydrangea Field
The Gao Family Hydrangea Field boasts the largest sea of blooms in Zhuzihhu. In 2017, a photo of its hydrangea sea was reposted and certified by Instagram’s official account, propelling it to fame and making it a popular flower-viewing destination.
