Transformed from a former Taiwan Railways freight warehouse dormitory, Iron Flower Village became Taitung’s first venue integrating music, art, and cultural creative markets (Taitung County Tourism Website).

Every Saturday and Sunday, Iron Flower Village hosts events and markets. Last Saturday, they held the Taitung Slow Food Festival. In the evenings, there are lantern decorations, unique shops nearby, and live music performances.

The much-loved painted hot air balloons are located at the entrance and inside Iron Flower Village. You can see the adorable sea of colorful balloons from the Taitung Story House (Eslite Bookstore) and Starbucks.
