Fushoushan Farm in central Taiwan can be considered one of the key spots for maple viewing. A period of sustained low temperatures recently affected the color change of the leaves, creating a watercolor-like blend of green, yellow, orange, and red that contrasts beautifully with the wooden architecture—offering a different kind of beauty compared to last year’s uniformly glowing red landscape.

The Facebook fan page notes that once the maple leaves turn red, rain can cause them to fall quickly—there are not many beautiful days left. This weekend is expected to be the most stunning time for maple viewing. In addition, Wuling Farm’s bald cypress, purple-leaf maple, and yellow maple are also entering their prime viewing periods.
