Open 24 hours!! Korean BBQ you can enjoy solo — savory meat infused with charcoal aroma, not overly sweet

I’ve tried quite a few all-you-can-eat BBQ sets around Hongdae because they’re convenient and perfect for one person. But honestly, this place serves the best-grilled meat I’ve had in any such set so far. The meat has a great smoky flavor, the cuts are quality (not just fatty), and the marinade is well-balanced — not too sweet. Plus, it’s open 24 hours, so if I had to recommend one, it’d be this one.

It was raining today, but the place was still packed — totally full inside.

He said this place is known for its kimchi stew, but most people actually order a kimchi stew (6,000 KRW) plus a BBQ set (7,000 KRW) — that combo is just right for two. But since I was alone, I just got the BBQ set.

There are tons of autographs on the wall. This place is famous, and yes, it gets really busy — packed during mealtimes.

Since it was full, I didn’t take photos of the interior. But I ordered the BBQ set, and it came out super fast.

The potatoes cooked in sugar and soy sauce — whether you like them or not is personal, but I thought they were pretty good.

And this plate of grilled meat — it’s really delicious. I’d say it’s similar to Taiwan’s pork collar, very tender. The grilling was just right, too — and the best part is there’s not too much fat. Lately, at a few places in Hongdae, the BBQ portions have been super fatty, like at that fish grill by Exit 4, or that set menu place by the park near Exit 3. Their BBQ portions were way too fatty.

Also, one I recommended before —the Yeonnam-dong BBQ set —is also pretty good. About on par with this place.

The garlic here goes really well with the grilled meat when you wrap it up. I like eating it with rice. If you want BBQ and you’re dining solo, definitely consider this place. And it’s open 24 hours, too.
