The other day, I read a news article saying that over a hundred “branded cosmetics” worldwide are actually “manufactured in Taiwan under contract.” As someone who’s quite proud of Taiwan, I had no idea about this!I don’t wear makeup myself these days, but I have a daughter who’s already dreaming about cosmetics. So, during our trip to Tainan, aside from staying at Hi Inn, I also arranged this “beauty factory tour” for Ayong.

That said, this factory tour is still in its trial operation phase—we’re just here to test the waters—but even so, it was pretty amazing~how so? Just wait and see…

There are cosmetic products designed for kids, and just this one box had Ayong playing with it so much she didn’t want to leave. It wasn’t until her dad said they were going shopping that she finally budged!

My husband is really on the ball—he kept asking us what we wanted to buy? But honestly, I didn’t really want to buy anything. I was thinking about getting this box for Ayong, but it doesn’t seem to be on sale yet.

Admission here is free, but you could probably make up the cost just from the gift shop alone—it’s huge. Even if I’m not interested in buying anything, my husband ended up buying quite a bit for his beloved daughter and her little friends. In total, he bought two kids’ sets without breaking a sweat.

I heard the DIY activities after the official opening are really appealing—you can visit the production line and even make your own essence, hand cream, lipstick, or lip balm. And all that for just 200 NT$ to take home two of your creations!I wonder what else they offer?

Oh—and the lady noticed me taking photos and specifically told me to check out their restroom. They said their toilets are amazing, XD.

There’s an aromatic garden outside the restroom—it’s actually pretty photogenic too—but the wind was too strong that day, so we decided to skip the experience for now and try again next time.

Hopefully, next time we come, we can bring Ayong to join these activities. Even if it costs a bit more, I think it’s worth it, XD. Because our Chen Yongjia is absolutely crazy—yesterday, the cosmetics her dad bought for her were clutched tightly in her hands the whole ride back,

and if they ever slipped from her hands while sleeping, she’d wake up immediately to grab them again. Back at home, she carefully carried them around—she absolutely loves them.

That glasses case is actually an eyeshadow palette.

Oh—and I’m not too worried about my kid making a mess with makeup, so moms who are more cautious can ask at the beauty shop whether these cosmetics need to be removed from the kids afterward. My Ayong just washed her face, haha.

Girls are sure to love this factory—it officially opens on March 28th~families with girls, go check it out!
