Is your baby starting to take an interest in numbers, chanting “1, 2, 3” all day long? Come and have fun making and playing with these adorable homemade number learning cards with Bobo!

[Toy DIY]Fun Number Learning CardsHow to make them: just two simple steps.
1. Cut striped colored paper into appropriately sized circles (I used the size of a CD), stick on numbers and corresponding colorful dot stickers, then laminate.
2. Attach the decorative ladybug wooden pieces to the wooden clips using hot glue.
Then you’re ready to play. Bobo and Mommy Bobo have come up with multiple ways to play—great for inspiration.
First up: clip the corresponding number of ladybugs onto the card according to the number shown.

The action of opening and clipping the wooden clips may seem simple, but it’s actually a bit challenging for toddlers. It takes a few tries to get the hang of it. So besides learning numbers and quantities, it also helps train fine motor skills—killing two birds with one stone.
Bigger numbers feel even more fun~For this 12-dot card, Bobo suddenly said, “It’s a crab!” after only clipping on 8 ladybugs, then paraded his “crab” around the house. XD
You can also play other games.

Lay all the number cards out, and when mommy shouts “Where’s the 6?” both players race to be the first to slap the number 6. We got really into it, while a super calm cat nearby just kept licking its fur.
The back of the number cards features 12 different dot patterns in groups of three. Flip the cards over and you can play sorting games or memory games.
Combine with magnetic wall decals at home and the number magnets sewn by Mommy Bobo for yet another set of play options.
Even accidentally stepping on the cards and having them stick to the soles of your feet makes Bobo happy. He deliberately stuck number cards to both feet and cheerfully said, “I’m wearing shoes!” Bobo is truly a happy baby—small things make him joyful, and he’s happy every day (well, when he’s not throwing a tantrum, that is). Bonus feature: fruit and veggie matching clip game.

Before, Mommy Bobo sewed little veggies and fruits like carrots and apples out of felt, then attached them to wooden clips. Paired with a hand-drawn fruit and veggie board, the same game gets a fresh twist.
