After the release of "Jurassic World," dinosaurs have been all the rage worldwide. The Wang family are huge dinosaur fans, so they immediately rewatched "Jurassic Park" episodes 1 to 3. During the Spring Festival, they even took the whole family on a bike ride to reunite with the dinosaurs. Follow Bobby Wang (bobowin) to the free 3D Jurassic Park to find some dinosaurs.

The 3D Jurassic Dinosaur Mural Park under the Huazhong Bridge is most conveniently accessed by car + Ubike, or by riding a bike directly along the Xindian River bicycle path. This time, the Wang family chose the former option, parking their car at the Yonghe Ren'ai Park parking lot.Ride a bike with your kids and explore the free 3D Jurassic Dinosaur ParkAfter parking, Brother Fubao rode his own bike, while Bobby Wang and Sister Fuma went to rent an Ubike at the bike station closest to the riverside park, located at the intersection of Bao’an and Yongping. They swiped their EasyCards, hopped on their bikes, and headed off to find the dinosaurs. Entering the riverside park via the Yonghe crossover gate, they turned left and followed the Xindian River bicycle path. In about 10 minutes, they arrived at the Dinosaur Park. There’s also a parking lot to the right after entering the crossover gate. If you’re driving and have a bike, you can park here — it’s convenient and affordable, with parking fees as low as NT$20 per hour. The Xindian River bicycle path runs alongside the river. The major rivers in Taipei and New Taipei City haven’t been very appealing in recent years, but cycling along the riverside is truly refreshing, with a constant breeze blowing. Our family loves dinosaurs, so we even brought our own dinosaur toys to join in the reunion. Look how excited the Wangs’ T-Rex is — it found a companion and began its dinosaur adventure. They discovered a dinosaur egg, and the T-Rex actually tried to steal a bite, prompting Bobby Wang to take action. With a flying kick, one wasn’t enough, so he went for a second. This dramatic father-son duo explored ways to interact with the 3D murals, then launched a synchronized double flying kick to save the dinosaur egg from an even fiercer Tarbosaurus. This one seemed especially aggressive, sending Brother Fubao running for his life. Sister Fuma showed up next, wearing a terrified expression (random passerby thought: “Why is this family so into acting?”). Even the Wangs’ T-Rex looked stunned. The next scene? The Wang father and son were riding their bikes when a Tarbosaurus started chasing them. Their best move? Just pedal as fast as possible. The escape sequence was so immersive, it could easily win Best Performance. The Wangs’ T-Rex stole the show again by bringing their toy dinosaur to interact on-site — making photos in the 3D Jurassic Park even more fun. Suddenly, a pterosaur appeared in the sky, and Sister Fuma got “snatched” by it!! There were also additional dinosaur sculptures around. Brother Fubao insisted on bringing all the little dinosaur toys because, as he put it, if they were reuniting, every dinosaur had to be there — no exceptions. Standing farther back at the 3D Jurassic Dinosaur Mural Park under the Huazhong Bridge, you can spot an enormous Mosasaurus on the ground. Sister Fuma got into character again, using her foot to pry open an ichthyosaur’s mouth and delivering a flying kick for maximum impact. Brother Fubao pulled off a splits move over the ichthyosaur’s teeth — reminiscent of Jean-Claude Van Damme’s Volvo ad — a move not many could pull off. On the other side of the bridge, there are more murals, including one that even features a jeep. The dramatic father-and-son duo made another appearance. If “Jurassic World” ever gets a sequel, maybe they should consider casting this duo.
Postscript: Taiwan has been swept up in a wave of dinosaur exhibitions, with dinosaur-themed displays popping up everywhere. The 3D Jurassic Dinosaur Mural Park under the Huazhong Bridge offers free entry for photos, plus opportunities to ride bikes and explore the riverside park. Set aside some time to bring your family here and capture fun moments just like the Wangs did.
