Taipei’s unique park “Tianmu Donghe Park” has just opened its doors to the public.
Themed around the forest playground of "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer," it features a wood chip surface that fills the ground with the scent of timber. It includes a two-story spiral slide area, a log-jumping stumps section, and a swing area.
Little Nuonuo bravely climbed up the two-story climbing net to the slide, and her mom was even happier than she was — it’s a fantastic free family-friendly attraction.

Right below is “Tianhe Park,” and nearby there’s also the newly opened “Starbucks Tianyu Branch in Tianmu.” It’s recommended to have breakfast at Starbucks in the morning, then come play at “Tianhe Park” and “Donghe Park”!
“Donghe Park” is themed around a forest adventure from The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, with a wood chip surface, and is divided into three zones:namely the two-story spiral slide area, the log-jumping stumps section, and the swings.
On the second floor of the two-story spiral slide area, there's a whispering tube and brain-teaser games.
The whispering tube is super fun.
To get to the slides, you can either use the stairs or climb the two-story net ladder.
At first, Nuonuo was a bit hesitant to climb up, but then a mom with three kids — whose children were the same age as Nuonuo — joined in to play, and soon Nuonuo felt brave enough to try it too. It was really touching. Thanks to that mom who even climbed up to encourage Nuonuo, helping her overcome her fear. We’re so grateful to her.
The slides are really well made, just like those in “Tianhe Park.”
The wood chip surface helps cushion falls, and the ground remains non-slippery even after rain. Nuonuo’s mom thought it was great.
Next, we headed toward the log-jumping stumps area.
Jumping across logs actually takes a bit of courage, and Nuonuo wasn’t too keen at first, so she mostly used both hands and feet to move across.
“Tianmu Donghe Park” is themed around forest adventure, and Nuonuo’s mom thinks it’s wonderful. Playing here, Nuonuo gradually became more adventurous and willing to take on challenges.

Then we went to the swing area.
The ground is fine sand, which feels comfortable underfoot, so parents don’t have to worry about kids falling.
There are swings for both adults and children.
Nuonuo said she wants to come back and play again next time.
