Step into a borderless dream of light and shadow！The world’s first digital art museum

The cross-disciplinary creative team teamLab has been touring the world in recent years, known for blending art with technology to immerse visitors in a fantastical world of light and shadow. They have already earned fame both at home and abroad. This team is now set to build the world’s first digital art museum in Tokyo’s Odaiba district, which officially opened in the summer of 2018.

The museum is named “Mori Building Digital Art Museum: teamLab Borderless” and will feature Japan’s first permanent exhibition as well as flagship facilities. Unlike traditional museums, this gallery focuses on digital visual art, aiming to let visitors experience a boundless world within its space — an ever-evolving realm of endless possibilities, much like technological advancement itself.
The museum will be located in teamLab Borderless Odaiba, Tokyo, covering an internal space of about 10,000 square meters, complex as a maze, equipped with 520 computers and 470 projectors to allow visitors to become immersed in and part of the art.
