Japan’s Tokyo-based “Ichidou,” known as the King of Ramen, has been ranked the top ramen spot on the food review site Tabelog for seven consecutive years, and is one of the must-try delicacies for international travelers visiting Japan. Now, this iconic Japanese ramen brand “Ichidou” is teaming up with Taiwan’s leading convenience store chain 7-ELEVEN to launch an affordable yet delicious high-value meal, allowing everyone to enjoy champion ramen without the wait—now available at your neighborhood convenience store with international-grade taste.

This collaboration between Ichidou and 7-ELEVEN introduces two limited-edition summer treats, one of which is the “Sesame Cold Tsukemen,” a popular item exclusively sold at Ichidou in Taiwan back in 2017. The noodles are springy with a slight wheat aroma, paired with a unique dipping sauce that enhances the flavor. The chicken breast is prepared using a low-temperature aging technique combining French culinary methods with Japanese techniques, ensuring tender texture and bursting juiciness in every bite that is simply mouthwatering.

Another highlight is the new menu item “Chicken Karaage Fried Rice,” set to launch in June at Ichidou but making its surprise debut at 7-ELEVEN. It features a revamped version of the tsukemen sauce, paired with Ichidou’s signature meat sauce, along with garlic-flavored chicken karaage—a staple in Japanese izakayas. Each bite brings out the aroma of diced pork belly, creating a uniquely different flavor from traditional Taiwanese-style fried rice.
