The world’s first underwater resort villa, “Muraka,” is located on the island of Rangali in the Maldives and is designed with the concept of sleeping alongside fish. It is surrounded by ocean views 360 degrees around.

This underwater resort villa was developed by Conrad Hotels & Resorts, the same group that built the world’s first overwater resort villa in Tahiti. The villa is situated 5 meters deep under the sea, allowing guests to enjoy the marine ecosystem of the Indian Ocean. The structure consists of two levels: one above the sea surface and one below.
The villa space is enclosed by large curved glass panels, giving guests an unobstructed view of underwater life. The underwater villa can accommodate up to 9 people, offering spacious living areas including a private gym, spa, kitchen, bar, dining area, and bedrooms.
