One of the world’s most beautiful cafés is Caffè Florian in Venice, Italy — a city icon established in 1720. It's a must-visit when traveling to Venice, where literary figures such as Mark Twain, Charlie Chaplin, and Andy Warhol once enjoyed their coffee. Now, this nearly 300-year-old café is making its way to Taiwan, set to open on the second floor of Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Xinyi New Life Square A9. The interior is currently under rapid renovation, with an expected opening before the end of March 2017.
Although the café has not yet opened, Shin Kong Mitsukoshi has already started selling the “Italian Caffè Florian New Year Gift Set.” Pre-orders begin December 21, and the set includes Venetian ground coffee, premium cocoa powder, Imperial Earl Grey tea, Arabica espresso bean chocolate, and a classic commemorative coffee cup and plate set.
