Capture Three Magnificent Sights in One Day: Taoyuan Coastal Cycling Tour

Taoyuan is known as the "Land of a Thousand Ponds" and besides its lush inland landscapes, the coastal area also boasts many breathtaking views, making it perfect for planning a cycling trip. Located south of Yong'an Fishing Port, the "Xinyi Green Corridor" is the most extensive bicycle path in northern Taiwan. The scenery along the route includes three major sights: sea views, desert landscapes, and a green tunnel, making it a great choice for family outdoor activities.

The bike lane weaves through cool woods while being caressed by the sea breeze from the adjacent coastal road. Here you can also see the Xinyi Century Stone Weirs, the largest group of stone weirs on the main island of Taiwan. Within less than 10 kilometers of coastline, there are over ten stone weirs with a history of over a hundred years, which look from afar like a Great Wall at sea.

The route also passes by sandy beaches and coastal areas, featuring large dune formations. There are also large-scale installations nearby, along with a well-developed system of pathways, wooden deck platforms, observation shelters, and landscape interpretation facilities.
