Attention all who can’t resist flower seas—the 2016 Taichung International Flower Carpet Festival will commence grandly on the 24th at the Houli Flower Field Green Corridor. A former landfill has been transformed into a beautiful floral wonderland, featuring Taiwan’s first three-dimensional dynamic carousel, a sunflower maze, and a dazzling festive-themed Christmas garden—all major attractions.

Welcome to a fairytale-like three-dimensional floral theme park, where vibrant flowers blend with dynamic installation art to create four highlight exhibition areas: the three-dimensional dynamic carousel main flower carpet “Carousel Rhapsody,” the giant tiger paw-print sunflower sea maze, the adorable tiger cub-shaped three-dimensional art flower carpet “Hide and Seek,” and the Christmas garden with a festive atmosphere—you can take photos to your heart’s content.

In addition, this year ten themed exhibition zones have been planned, combining interactive and dynamic floral installation art, creating a fantastical amusement park built from flower seas that will enchant visitors of all ages, making them not want to leave. It also serves as a warm-up for the 2018 Taichung World Flora Exposition.
