Five flower sea farms across Taiwan with blooms to enjoy all year round

Taiwan’s climate is greatly influenced by the ocean due to being surrounded by the sea, resulting in distinct and unique seasons that nurture a diverse array of beautiful flowers. Below is a list of five flower sea farms across Taiwan, where different flowers take turns blooming in each season, allowing you to visit and enjoy the beauty of the flower seas and take photos at any time.

1. Taoyuan – Daxi Flower Sea Farm
Daxi Flower Sea Farm is the largest floral farm in northern Taiwan, spanning 17 hectares and home to over 4 million flowers. The farm combines expansive scenic flower fields, European-style restaurants, flower gardens, herb gardens, and an ecological pasture, creating a romantic atmosphere. It has also served as a filming location for many idol dramas and variety shows.

2. Taoyuan – Xiangyang Farm
In addition to its vast sunflower fields, Xiangyang Farm also bursts into colorful bloom every year from January to April with vibrant snapdragons and purple lavender, creating a picturesque scene alongside the newly blooming sunflowers — perfect for a holiday visit.

Covering 18,000 pyeong, Xiangyang Farm is the largest sunflower-themed farm in northern Taiwan. Sunflowers bloom from May to October, and admission to the park is free. In addition to the expansive seasonal flower fields, the farm also features a brick oven area, outdoor learning activities, DIY fun, souvenirs, and a themed restaurant.
