90,000 windmills create a giant illuminated butterfly light sculpture — a dreamy night scene and new landmark

In recent years, the government has developed numerous landscape parks. Whether it's floral displays planted next to green spaces or newly built family-friendly play areas, they always attract many parents and children. Now, to welcome the arrival of spring, the New Taipei City Government’s High-Riparian Land Engineering Management Office has used 90,000 colorful windmills to create a giant butterfly landscape at the Jiangcai Gravel Interception Waterfront Butterfly Park. At night, 170,000 light sculptures transform into glowing butterflies, creating a dazzling spectacle that has quickly become a new hotspot for night scenery viewing.

The Banqiao Jiangcai Gravel Interception Waterfront Park in New Taipei City has underground sewage treatment facilities, while the surface has been landscaped and integrated with pedestrian pathways to form a butterfly-themed park. Recently, the government arranged 90,000 vibrant windmills to form a colorful butterfly landscape, enhanced with 170,000 LED bulbs to create a magnificent scene that looks different during the day and at night. It’s a great spot for picnics and walks during the day, and for enjoying a romantic, dreamy butterfly art night scene in the evening — a visual feast.

Additionally, the park offers several photo-friendly scenic spots where you can take beautiful pictures while admiring the magnificent landscape art. The illuminated butterfly landscape exhibition opened on April 14th — don’t miss the chance to see the starry, colorful night scene.
