This year’s third typhoon, Typhoon Liyu, has intensified into a strong typhoon. After turning northward, its path has shifted slightly to the right. The typhoon center is located northwest of Guam and is moving northeastward, posing no impact on Taiwan or Japan.

The weather will mostly be sunny for the coming week, with temperatures ranging between 19～25 degrees Celsius. It will get hotter the further south you go, but temperature differences remain significant—stay warm in the mornings and evenings. Starting from April 5, the weather will begin to change, with rain expected in areas north of Hsinchu. On April 6, rain is forecasted for areas north of Chiayi, as well as the eastern part of the island, Kinmen, and Matsu. As the Qingming holiday falls during this period, those planning to travel or visit graves are advised to keep an eye on the latest weather updates.
