When a chocolate Pen pierces an apple-shaped steamed bun at PPAP Café—the hottest spot!

The globally viral song “PPAP” performed by Japanese entertainer PICO Taro (ピコ太郎) has inspired countless celebrity imitations, turning him into a beacon of Japanese culture promotion—so much so that he now has his own café, located inside Tokyo’s iconic landmark, the Tokyo Skytree.

The entire café is designed in a yellow color scheme, with a photo of PICO Taro himself at the entrance where fans love to take photos. There's also an LCD screen continuously playing the “PPAP” song on loop—it’s incredibly catchy and hard not to dance along to.

As for the menu items, almost all are served with pens stuck in them or decorated with little flags bearing PICO Taro’s image. The dish names on the menu are all based on “PPAP,” though the final P can stand for different things—it might be pancake (Japanese mochi-like pastry), parfait, or even bread (pan in Japanese).

In addition to the food, the shop offers a variety of PICO Taro merchandise, including clothes, keychains, and even charms—clearly showcasing his immense popularity. This pop-up store is currently open only for a limited time, having launched on November 1, 2016, with operations tentatively scheduled to end on January 12, 2017. Visitors should hurry if they want to check it out.
