The annual Dajia Mazu Pilgrimage officially sets off in April, embarking on a 9-day, 8-night, over 300-kilometer journey of pilgrimage and incense offerings. The Dajia Mazu Pilgrimage is not only an important folk culture in Taiwan but was also once considered one of the world's three major religious events. The pilgrimage route spans four counties and cities—Taichung, Changhua, Yunlin, and Chiayi—attracting hundreds of thousands or even millions of participants each year, creating a grand and spectacular scene.
