Kids' Qingming holiday break? Adults get treats too, here’s a lazy guide to resort hotel deals

This year’s children’s and Qingming Festival holiday break spans five days, and theme parks and hotels are rolling out promotions not only to attract kids but also to offer discounted rates for parents — including free entry for children under 12 at Leofoo Village Theme Park, and adult child pricing at Lihpao Land, among others. In addition, hotels are launching special kid-friendly packages. Travelers planning domestic trips during this holiday can consider these offers.

Leofoo Village Theme Park
From April 4 to April 8 during the Qingming holiday, all “children under 12” enjoy free admission. In addition, adults receive a special rate of NT$499, saving NT$500 per person.
 
Miniature Land
Miniature Land is holding a school uniform party from April 4 to 8. As long as elementary school students wear their school uniforms or sports attire, they can enjoy a discounted ticket price of NT$399, with access to six major themed areas.
 
Lihpao Land
From April 4 to 8, Lihpao Land is launching the “Magical Lihpao Kids’ Wonderland” event, where adults can also enjoy child pricing at NT$499 (full price is NT$750), saving NT$250 on tickets. During the holiday period, there will be daytime fun with colorful parades, the educational “POPA Dream New World” kids’ show, and at night, Taiwan’s most beautiful Starlight Park and dazzling fireworks shows will be available. Operating hours are extended until 8 PM, with couple’s Moonlight Tickets at a 60% discount for NT$399.
 
Taipei Children’s Amusement Park
From April 4 to April 8, Taipei Children’s Amusement Park and Maokong Gondola offer free admission for all elementary school students nationwide, while rides inside the park remain at regular prices.

Fleur Yuyuan Hot Spring Hotel, Sun Moon Lake
Fleur Yuyuan Hot Spring Hotel in Sun Moon Lake highlights free stays for kids. From April 4 to 7, children under 12 stay free and receive complimentary breakfast, with an additional 20% discount when purchasing dinner.

Evergreen Laurel Phoenix Hotel, Jiaoxi
Evergreen Laurel Phoenix Hotel in Jiaoxi is offering a child package valid until the end of April — one night with two meals starting from NT$8,600 per room, limited to 10 rooms per day.Children under 6 years old staying receive a free one-night tent experience or a kids’ T-shirt (choose one).

Farglory Hotel, Hualien
To boost tourism, Farglory Hotel in Hualien is offering a special promotion for guests traveling with pets. Bring your furry friend and two people can stay in a sea view room for just NT$3,850, which includes two servings of self-service afternoon tea and two servings of self-service breakfast. Additionally,under the “You Support Farglory, Farglory Supports You” promotion, guests checking in before the end of March can upgrade to a sea view family room when booking a room for three or four people.
