Michelin today proudly unveiled the carefully curated list of the inaugural Taipei Michelin Guide, featuring a total of 110 restaurants that span 33 different cuisines. Among these 110 establishments, 20 have been awarded stars. In this first-ever release, the Cantonese restaurant Le Palais has earned the prestigious Michelin three-star rating.

Le Palais presents exquisite and refined Cantonese and other Chinese dishes through authentic and traditional culinary techniques. Its head chef, Chan Wai-keung, moved from Macau to Taiwan nearly 20 years ago.

Chef Chan and his team are all masters of various styles of Chinese cuisine. The dining experience here is extraordinarily refined, truly worth a special trip. Dishes such as Le Palais’ flame-roasted Peking duck served three ways, lobster, tofu creations, and the classic egg tart leave an unforgettable impression. All dishes have received unanimous praise from Michelin inspectors.
