It feels like stepping into a fairy tale scene — a massive conch sculpture so stunning it doesn’t seem real.

Situated in Yunlin’s Taisi Sea Park, this scenic area is located on Taiwan’s reclaimed coastal land and is one of the island’s primary production and distribution centers for seafood such as clams and oysters. The park features a massive conch sculpture that has become a popular Instagram check-in spot. The exterior of the giant conch is adorned inside with colorful mosaic tiles, inlaid with real shells and ceramics, creating a vibrant mosaic style that exudes a strong oceanic vibe.

The conch stands 10 meters tall and 25 meters wide. Its colorful tile arrangement resembles a scene from a fairy tale world, with over 50 types and more than 5,000 embedded shells. Whether set against blue skies and white clouds or sunset hues, it offers a picturesque backdrop for photos.

Taisi Sea Park boasts a vast plain with sandy soil suitable for farming. Aside from fish farms, visitors can also admire fields of rapeseed flowers or fly kites here. The scenic boulevard is straight and spacious, lined with oyster farms laid out in a grid pattern across fish ponds. Egrets gather in shallower post-harvest ponds to feed, allowing visitors to take in the full beauty of nature.
