The “Bib Gourmand” list includes 36 restaurants and eateries, 10 of which are from Taipei’s famous night markets. Michael Ellis, the International Director of the Michelin Guides, said: “Our inspectors have delved deep into the diverse and exquisite flavors of Taipei’s cuisine, including local specialties such as beef noodle soup, pig’s trotters, and squid balls—all delicious and great value for money.”

Additionally, Taipei’s renowned night markets contributed ten street food items to this year’s “Taipei Michelin Guide.” Among the “Bib Gourmand” street food selections, three come from Raohe Night Market: Chen Dong Herbal Braised Pork Ribs, Fuzhou Shizu Pepper Buns, and Boss Shi’s Spicy Stinky Tofu. Nangang Night Market, Ningxia Night Market, and Linjiang Street Night Market each have two entries. Rounding out the list is Hai You Shi Quan Pork Ribs, a long-standing stall in Shilin Night Market that has been operating for over 40 years.
