Zhu Ming Art Museum Welcomes the Year of the Tiger: Free Admission and Red Packets for Tiger Zodiac Visitors

Want to ring in the New Year differently? Head to the Zhu Ming Art Museum in Jinshan to soak up some artistic vibes. This year, in addition to the “2010 Permanent Collection Exhibition,” the museum will launch an eight-day series of children’s art activities and creative art markets starting from the first day of the Lunar New Year. Visitors born in the Year of the Tiger can also enjoy free admission, receive artistic red packets, and celebrate the Year of the Tiger with creativity.

Spanning over 30,000 square meters, the Zhu Ming Art Museum will launch two brand-new art exhibitions — “2010 Permanent Collection Exhibition: Grace” and “2010 Trajectory of Taiwanese Sculpture” — along with a series of New Year activities starting from the first day of the Lunar New Year. The “2010 Permanent Collection Exhibition: Grace” specially features a curated selection of both flat and three-dimensional works from the museum’s collection, including pieces by both Eastern and Western modern artists such as Zhu Ming and Henry Moore. Additionally, on the afternoon of the third and fourth days of the Lunar New Year (14:00–15:00), the museum will invite Huichuanju Stage to perform the “Grace” human sculpture show and distribute artistic red packets. Visitors who imitate the poses from the “Grace” performance on-site will have a chance to win these red packets. Prizes include Zhu Ming art books and one-year free admission (365 days) to the Zhu Ming Art Museum, among other great gifts.

During the New Year period, the museum will also host an “Art Creative Market,” showcasing handmade art goods specially created for the Year of the Tiger by young artisans at the rest pavilion in the Taiji Plaza. Limited-edition items include tiger-themed lucky bags, SoSo hand-painted tiger mugs, hand-drawn creative Spring Festival couplets, special edition phone cases and clutches with “Happy Year of the Tiger” designs. For family activities, there’s also “Fun with Sculpture” to encourage shared creative experiences. Children over 110 cm in height can purchase entry tickets and any children’s art course for just NT$300–399. These include exclusive art courses such as “Year Beast Memory Box,” “Colorful Tiger Leaping on Flower Umbrellas,” and “Shadow Carving Creative Show,” where art teachers guide families in creating tiger-themed art together.

In addition, during the Spring Festival, the Zhu Ming Art Museum is offering a “Spend NT$2,000, Get NT$200” promotion in its museum shop. Customers who spend a cumulative total of NT$2,000 in the shop on the same day will receive a NT$200 gift voucher. The museum also continues its popular “NT$350 Art Feast” deal, where for just NT$350, you can enjoy one museum ticket plus a choice of one from four great combos: a delicious meal set, a light afternoon tea, Taiji handmade cookies, or a kid-friendly “Big Smile” meal set — allowing you to eat, drink, and have fun inside the museum. Tiger zodiac visitors can enjoy free admission from the first to the eighth day of the Lunar New Year upon presenting valid ID, and will also receive an artistic red packet containing gifts such as postcards featuring ten classic artworks from the Zhu Ming Art Museum. Only 100 red packets are available each day, so get them while supplies last.
