The Shiretoko Five Lakes are the premier sightseeing attraction on the Shiretoko Peninsula. It takes about an hour to walk around all five lakes. The area features five lakes of varying sizes, with Lake Nii being the largest. Here, you can admire the beautiful reflection of the Shiretoko mountain range on the lake's surface. In addition to spotting Ezo deer foraging, you may also see claw marks left by brown bears on the tree trunks near the lakes.
