1. Taichung | Fulfillment Church

Nestled on a mountainside, Fulfillment Church boasts a grand garden and a church building in Baroque style, exuding an aristocratic elegance. The idol drama “It Started with a Kiss” was also filmed here. Covering a total area of about 1,045 pyeong (approx. 3,450 sqm) over four floors, it combines architectural features of Baroque, Gothic, Ancient Roman, and Rococo styles. This colorful and adorable church is super romantic, even the little angels in the fountain seem to send their blessings.

2. Taoyuan | Kikuo Pai Church

Unlike the glamorous European-style churches, Kikuo Pai Church embodies the beauty of history. Completed in the 1960s and still intact, it has been selected as one of the Ministry of the Interior’s “100 Religious Scenic Spots in Taiwan.” Designed with the concept of “the key to heaven,” its unique entrance was crafted from stones quarried near the nearby Bat Cave and meticulously carved. The beauty of this old church witnesses the most enduring love of couples.

3. Taoyuan | Noah’s Ark Ship-Shaped Church

Located in Taoyuan, the Noah’s Ark Church features a striking ship-shaped architecture. The structure is 60 feet long and 40 feet wide. It is said that this church, built in 1992, was constructed in just six months after divine inspiration received by believers. This massive ship-shaped church is highly eye-catching, but due to its remote location, a romantic journey to find Noah’s Ark is about to begin.

4. Tainan | Crystal Church

When it comes to the most beautiful church, this one takes the crown. The Crystal Church is the first government-sponsored attraction in Taiwan designed around the theme of “wedding photography.” Modeled after Guam’s St. Laguna Chapel, the Crystal Church is an all-white structure set against blue skies and white clouds, making it a romantic top choice for many wedding photo shoots.Kikuo Pai Church

5. Taoyuan | Garden Farm Crystal Church

This triangular Crystal Church is made entirely of transparent glass and is situated on a lakeside boardwalk. It looks incredibly dreamy from any angle, as if you've arrived at a romantic European wedding venue. Sunlight streaming into the church creates the most beautiful romantic scene.

6. Kaohsiung | Yancheng Church

The main church building, with its Gothic architecture, gives the illusion of a castle in a painting, as if you’ve been transported to Europe. Every Christmas, Yancheng Church lights up the exterior walls, doors, and windows, outlining the shape of the church with lights, attracting many visitors.

7. Chiayi  High Heel Church

Cinderella’s glass slipper is right before your eyes. The High Heel Church is located in Budai Seaview Park, Chiayi, standing approximately 17 meters tall and 11 meters wide, constructed from 320 pieces of glass. It has become a new landmark of Chiayi and a stunning spot for dates and wedding photography.

8. Nantou  Paper Dome

An IG-famous church hit the spotlight in Taiwan. Designed by architect Shigeru Ban, it was relocated from Kobe, Japan, to Taiwan, becoming a new tourist attraction in Nantou and a symbol of friendly cooperation between Japan and Taiwan in community development and post-earthquake reconstruction. Constructed mainly from paper materials, the space between the oval structure and its exterior walls forms a unique corridor. The rooftop membrane lets in soft daylight, offering distinct beauty both day and night.

9. Nantou  Moon God Temple (Lover’s Church)

The fairytale-inspired "Moon God Church" is filled with pink bubbles. It enshrines the God of Marriage, breaking from traditional styles by blending Western European aesthetics with Chinese cultural elements. It has become one of the most unique church attractions in Taiwan.

10. Taitung  Cardboard Chapel

Couples planning a light trip to Taitung shouldn’t miss the “Cardboard Chapel” of Yiwang Presbyterian Church. The renowned designer Xiao Qingyang’s work, “The Bell of the Cardboard Chapel,” won the Best Album Packaging Award at the Golden Melody Awards. His design was inspired by the Yiwang Christian Presbyterian Church in Chenggong Township, Taitung County. This “beautiful-as-poetry” chapel has since gained widespread fame.
