Tigerair Taiwan’s early bird deals are back again – flights on 5 routes start from NT$799, with sales starting Dec 28

The second wave of Tigerair Taiwan’s 2017 summer schedule promotional sales kicks off again this Wednesday (Dec 28)! This early bird promotion includes 5 routes not available in the first wave: Taoyuan-Hakodate, Taoyuan-Okayama, Taoyuan-Naha (Okinawa), Taoyuan-Fukuoka, and Kaohsiung-Naha (Okinawa), with one-way untaxed fares starting from NT$799. The sale runs from 10:00 AM on Dec 28, 2016 to 11:59 PM on Dec 30, 2016.

Tigerair Taiwan will launch the second wave of early bird promotions for its summer schedule this Wednesday, with prices starting from NT$799. The promotional travel period covers from March 26, 2017 to October 28, 2017. Tigerair Taiwan stated that this includes the peak summer holiday season, making it ideal for family trips as well as university graduation travel, and advises travelers to plan their mid-year trips early.

Tigerair Taiwan said that due to the continued weakening of the Japanese yen recently, travel to Japan has once again become popular, resulting in strong sales. Among them, the most popular routes among Taiwanese travelers—Japan’s two major cities, Osaka and Tokyo—remain at the top. Other secondary Japanese cities such as Okayama, Sendai, and Nagoya have also benefited from the spring cherry blossom travel boom, with average sales increasing by about 20% compared to previous early bird promotions.

Tigerair Taiwan is currently Taiwan’s No. 1 and only low-cost carrier, currently operating 15 international routes covering Macau, Northeast Asia, and Southeast Asia, including as many as 11 international routes between Taiwan and Japan. Starting next year (2017), it will sequentially launch two new international routes: Taoyuan-Busan and Kaohsiung-Naha (Okinawa), bringing the total number of international routes to 17, giving Tiger fans even more travel destination options.
