"Transformers: The Last Knight" to hit theaters — 3-meter-tall Bumblebee makes early debut in Taoyuan

The cool Bumblebee has made an appearance at a shopping mall in Taoyuan. With a massive fan base, the next installment of the "Transformers" series will be released next June. To let fans get an early look at the iconic characters from the films, Global Mall Taoyuan A8 has specially set up a towering 3-meter-tall robot figure for visitors to take photos with.

The upcoming "Transformers 5," slated for release next June, has teased an unexpected plot twist in which Optimus Prime attacks his friend Bumblebee — making fans even more eager to see the film. In anticipation of the movie’s premiere, Global Mall Taoyuan A8 is treating fans to a visual treat from now until February 28, 2017. In collaboration with Fuyou Industrial Co., Ltd., Global Mall Taoyuan A8 will display a 3-meter-tall robot figure right outside its main entrance on the first floor. From December 23, 2016, to February 28, 2017, visitors who take photos with the robot figure at the Global Mall Taoyuan A8 Facebook page, tag three friends, and share their post online can receive a special gift. Families and fans of all ages are welcome to come and take photos.
