Taiwan’s first Sarawak Jungle Action Train officially launched in early April ! To coincide with the Sarawak tourism promotion campaign, the Sarawak Tourism Board has unveiled a Sarawak-themed tourist bus cruising through the bustling urban jungle of Taipei. The public can discover Sarawak’s eco-tourism offerings and get an up-close look at pristine jungle wonders usually seen only on the Discovery Channel.

Known as the “Land of the Hornbills,” Sarawak boasts the world’s oldest tropical rainforest. Its unique geographical environment nurtures a rich diversity of flora and fauna, as well as several world-record natural wonders — including the world’s largest Rafflesia flower, largest cave, and longest tree-top canopy walkway. To allow Taiwanese travelers to experience the untouched beauty of nature, the Malaysian Tourism Board, Sarawak Tourism Board, Malaysia Airlines, MASwings, and Dragonair Travel Services have jointly launched the “Golden Sarawak: Rainforest River Cruise, Jungle Walk, and Mulu National Park Exploration 5-Day Tour” and the “Golden Sarawak: Asia’s Amazon – Mulu & Miri Exploration 5-Day Tour” to uncover the secrets of the mystical rainforest.
