Create your Eurail holiday—travel Europe by train for free

To embark on an exciting European rail holiday adventure, from now until May 23, anyone aged 18 or above who submits the most unique European train travel plan has the chance to make their dream come true—traveling across Europe by train for free—and may even become a rail itinerary designer for Fida Travel’s European train routes. This “European Dream Plan” is open to all global Chinese (individuals or pairs), where creatively planning “your Eurail” holiday can inspire more people to take the first step toward independent travel in Europe.

Fida Travel, the organizer of this dream plan, awarded six groups the opportunity to go on dream trips to Europe last year during the second edition of the event. Some traveled through seven or eight countries in one go, while others embarked on solo female adventures; some indulged in local cuisine, and others enjoyed heartwarming family train journeys with six family members. To become a winner of this year’s dream plan, all you need is creativity—design a themed route based on your most classic, most desired, or most unique European destinations, and submit a description of 200–1000 words explaining the inspiration and route direction. You could be selected as a candidate for the dream plan.

All submitted articles will be open for voting starting May 25, with 10 finalists selected to advance to the next stage and receive route planning documents. Interviews will take place on June 12, and five winners of the dream plan will be chosen, with the final list announced on June 16. The first-place winner will receive “a Eurail Global Pass valid for 21 countries, with the option to choose 15 travel days within two months x 2 tickets, plus 5 nights of double-room hotel accommodation,” with a total value of approximately NT$90,000.
