With just over 150 days to go until the official opening of the “2010 Taipei International Flora Exposition,” following the organizers’ introduction of unique food offerings for visitors, the “National Partner Hotel Cooperation Program” is now being rolled out. A total of 166 hotels across 19 counties and cities nationwide have joined forces to offer room discounts ranging from 40% to 80% off. Simply present your Flora Expo ticket to enjoy exclusive benefits at any of the partner hotels.

Starting July 1, visitors can enjoy up to 60% off room rates at partner hotels when presenting their Flora Expo ticket. The program includes internationally renowned hotels such as The Grand Hotel Taipei, Grand Hyatt Taipei, Regent Taipei, Shangri-La’s Far Eastern Plaza Hotel Taipei, and The Lalu. Also participating are chain hotels like Formosa Chang Hotel, Evergreen Laurel Hotel, and Yunlan Tourism Group, as well as various budget accommodations. Information on the Flora Expo is available in Chinese, English, and Japanese.

Comparison of discounted room rates at partner international hotels: For example, a double room at Grand Hyatt Taipei is originally priced at NT$15,000 on weekdays but is available for NT$6,190 under the Flora Expo package, equivalent to 40% off. The deluxe room at The Westin Taipei is reduced from NT$12,000 to NT$5,700, approximately 50% off, with breakfast included depending on the room type—limited to only five rooms per day. The standard room at The Grand Hotel Taipei is originally NT$9,020 but is offered at NT$5,320, with breakfast included based on room type. Remember to present your Flora Expo ticket before booking to avail of these discounts.

In addition to room discounts, partner hotels are also offering a variety of creative options during the Flora Expo period, such as floral-themed meals, floral-decorated rooms, or floral amenities. For instance, the “Huaguo Flower Fun” package at Huaguo Hotel includes accommodation in a Flora Expo suite, Flora Expo entry tickets, a floral buffet, and exotic “Floral Heart Cuisine.” The “Spring Sunshine Floral Feast” package at Taipei Caesar Park Hotel features chef-designed floral sauces using a variety of floral ingredients such as jasmine, chrysanthemum, osmanthus, cherry blossom, and rose, paired with different dishes. The Regent Taipei utilizes dozens of edible flowers to design creative dishes, enhancing the flavor of flower-inspired cuisine.
