Head to the world capital of wine, Bordeaux, and savor its renowned fine wines

The Bordeaux Wine Festival primarily promotes the wines of Bordeaux and the Gironde region. Eighty AOC (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée) wines from Bordeaux and Gironde, along with famous branded Bordeaux wines, form a nearly 2-kilometer-long “Wine Route.” Wine enthusiasts can purchase a “Tasting Pass” for €15 to get one wine glass, one glass holder, twelve tasting vouchers, access to more tasting tickets, as well as wine purchase coupons, discounts, and gifts; the two-person Tasting Pass is priced at €20 and includes all the benefits of the regular pass, with two glasses and two holders.

In addition to tasting wines along the Wine Route exhibition area, visitors can also buy a Vineyard Pass to embark on a winemaking tour. During the festival, daily bus tours depart from the event site, led by bilingual guides to visit three châteaux or heritage sites, with arranged wine tastings and lunches. Different themed excursions run approximately from 09:00 to 18:00, with prices ranging from €50 to €90 depending on the destination and itinerary.

Now in its 7th edition, the Bordeaux Wine Festival will also host, for the first time this year, Taste Workshops (Ateliers du Goût) led by chefs invited by the Gironde Agricultural Processed Food Promotion Association, teaching participants cooking skills and how to pair fine wines with delicious dishes. During the event from June 24 to 27, there will also be various activities each evening, such as master-level wine tasting competitions and barrel rolling contests.
