The 2010菊岛 International Beach Festival – Play in the sand, enjoy the sea, and savor delicious food

The “2010 Penghu菊岛 International Art Beach Festival” showcases the unique island charm of Penghu through lively, relaxing, and creative activities. In addition to continuing traditional fishing experience programs from previous years, the festival also features specially arranged performances by local unique performance troupes, and invites international performance groups to join in the fun, presenting a diverse and integrated artistic atmosphere. Featured artists such as Xu Renjie from the Star Avenue and Fu Qiongyin from Super Idol will serve as the headlining performers of this year’s beach festival, taking the event’s atmosphere to new heights.

Penghu boasts azure coastlines, beautiful beaches, and world-class basalt formations. Especially, Qili Beach is also hailed as one of Taiwan’s most beautiful bathing beaches, alongside nearby Shanshui Beach and Aimen Beach. Qili Beach not only captivates visitors with its quaint fishing village charm but also offers views of the two major islands, Husi and Tongpan. For those interested in fishing village life, don’t miss the local “Qian Gu” (seine net pulling) activity to experience a day in the life of a fisherman.
