Experience the beauty of luxury yachts and naval vessels at the 2010 Kaohsiung Marine Expo

Kaohsiung has a well-developed offshore fishing industry, featuring military ports, commercial ports, fishing harbors, and yacht marinas, giving the entire city a strong maritime atmosphere. The "2010 Kaohsiung Marine Expo and Yacht Show" will take place at Glory Pier and True Love Pier from August 6th to 9th, showcasing luxury yachts and naval ships. With a variety of marine-themed exhibitions, visitors can immerse themselves in the charm of the ocean.

In addition to yacht and vessel displays, harbor cruise boats will take visitors to Cijin Fishing Port, where they can enjoy free admission to the "Classic Ships Across the Centuries Special Exhibition" and the "World's Rare and Exotic Shells Special Exhibition." Additionally, participants can opt for a Blue Highway experience, taking a passenger ferry from True Love Pier to Oyster Liao Fishing Port for a delicious culinary journey through the fishing village.

Beyond the August events, the Kaohsiung City Government’s Ocean Affairs Bureau has also launched a series of activities including the "2010 Kaohsiung Heavy Sail Experience Camp," "2010 Kaohsiung International Heavy Sail Invitational Regatta," "2010 International Marine Forum," and "Kaohsiung Marine Treasures Creative Cuisine Banquet," offering an even more diverse marine culture this year. Families are encouraged to visit the Marine Expo together to admire Kaohsiung’s harbors under the blue sea and sky.
