Head to the magical kingdom—Tokyo Disney Resort’s Summer Invitation
During the summer vacation, Tokyo Disney Resort has plenty of fun waiting for you to discover. From now until August 31, the resort is offering a variety of special shows that make extensive use of water and fire effects, aiming to provide guests with a unique summer experience.
Numerous brand-new summer entertainment performances
This year, Tokyo Disneyland once again presents the highly popular summer cooling special show “Summer Coolness.” As cheerful and lively melodies play, water jets and splashes burst forth from various parts of Cinderella Castle, bringing guests an incredibly refreshing and joyful time in the sweltering heat. This year, Mickey and Minnie also debut new outfits, adding even more sparkle to the performance. A brand-new evening entertainment show, “Midsummer Night Madness,” makes a grand nighttime debut. The Hawaiian party hosted by Nemo and Stitch turns into a dazzling showdown of water and sparks as troublemakers like Dr. Hamsterviel try to ruin the fun.
Tokyo DisneySea’s summer program also features the mischievous duo Chip ‘n’ Dale with their cooling special show “Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Splashtastic Adventure,” making a strong comeback. Chip ‘n’ Dale will arrive at Mediterranean Harbor on a water-spraying boat, greeting guests with a flurry of water jets and turning them into drenched delight. When night falls, the annual summer celebration “Campfire Dance” kicks off on Arabian Coast, where Disney characters invite guests to dance and revel under the glow of blazing bonfires.
Tokyo DisneySea’s summer program is lively and colorful
During the event period, both parks will set up misting zones to provide guests with a cool and comfortable experience as they explore. Major shops and restaurants within the parks will also launch special merchandise and themed meals in line with the event. In addition, Tokyo DisneySea’s Hotel MiraCosta and Disney Ambassador Hotel will host a variety of summer-themed special events, offering guests continuous surprises and refreshing moments.
When visiting Tokyo Disneyland, guests can use the “FastPass” ticket dispensers at designated attractions. By inserting your park ticket, you can get a free “FastPass Ticket” to enjoy other attractions first and then return to the attraction during the specified time slot on the ticket—no long queues, less waiting time, and more fun on the rides.
