Its red sandstone facade, modeled after Morocco’s “Red City,” always catches the eye of passersby, drawing them in with its rich exotic architecture. Completed in 2010 with an investment of NT$360 million, Amanda Manor imports everything from its exterior to its furnishings from Morocco. The row of copper-inlaid lamps at the entrance, deliberately low handcrafted tables and chairs, and exquisitely carved arched stone pillars fully embody the spirit of Islamic design, making you feel as if you’re in a Middle Eastern royal palace.

When planning his retirement, the owner envisioned building a unique and elegant garden villa where he could enjoy a leisurely pace of life. On a trip to Morocco in North Africa with his wife, he was awestruck by the grandeur of the palaces there and decided to create Amanda Manor, hoping to offer guests a sense of being right at home. “Amanda” is actually the name of a Greek goddess, derived from the Latin phrase “worthy of love,” symbolizing the owner’s wish for guests to enjoy the most mysterious and luxurious experience in such a beautiful setting.

In addition to the Moroccan-inspired rooms, the manor also offers a full set of Middle Eastern costume rentals, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in cosplay and capture special memories with photos around the property.
