“Travel Through Kinki & Win Big Prizes” – Win Round-Trip Air Tickets to Japan
The Kinki region, full of cultural and sightseeing charm, is a top choice for many visitors. To boost travel interest among Taiwanese tourists, the Kinki East Central FIT Committee has launched the online campaign “Travel Through Kinki & Win Big Prizes.” By purchasing related Kinki products or tickets during the campaign period, participants can register for the lucky draw, with the grand prize being a round-trip air ticket to Kansai Airport in Osaka!
The “Kinki” region is located in the very center of Japan, originally referring to the outskirts of the capital. From 1,300 years ago until the Edo Shogunate, Japan’s political and economic center was always in Kinki. It is home to many important sightseeing spots. To explore Kinki, you can take the Kintetsu Railway, a private railway company with the longest operating route. It will celebrate its 100th anniversary on September 16, 2010. Covering a vast area, riding the trains on this century-old railway allows you to easily tour the Kinki region.
The public can participate by purchasing Kinki region products from China Airlines' Premium Travel, Japan Airlines JAL individual free independent travel, or through six travel agencies—Kuang De, Fu Tai, JTB Taiwan (Setouchi), Ding Ye, Golden Castle, and Chuang Zao—such as the “Kinki Railway Pass” or “Kintetsu Train Wide Area Pass.” By entering the ticket numbers online, participants can enter to win one round-trip air ticket to Osaka from China Airlines or Japan Airlines (2 winners), top-tier MIKIMOTO pearl necklaces and bracelets from Mie Prefecture, Nara’s “Heijo-kyo Transfer 1300th Anniversary Festival” mascot – Heijokun plush toys, eco-friendly Heijokun bags, Iga ninja tool sets, and Matsusaka beef potato chips, among 69 other exclusive items air-freighted from Japan.
