Coinciding with the Taipei City Flower Expo, Yangmingshan’s Tianlai Hot Spring Resort has launched its exclusive “Floral Whisper Springs Series” vacation package starting in October. The resort’s 1,200 square-meter indoor and outdoor hot spring area has been thoughtfully designed with six floral-themed hot spring pools. Leveraging the essence of dozens of floral ingredients, the resort has created six unique spring experiences: “Floral Radiance Spring,” “Snow Skin Spring,” “Jade Beauty Spring,” “Soothing Heart Spring,” “Pure Skin Spring,” and “Cleansing Mind Spring.” Related accommodation promotions will also be available.
Zheng Wenlin, manager of the resort’s leisure department, said: “Different floral ingredients can have varying effects on our sense of smell and touch.” Therefore, aside from infusing the traditional springs with various floral scents, the resort has also mapped out a bathing route across the property that stimulates all five senses for enhanced benefits. First, the “Floral Radiance Spring” helps the body adjust to the temperature while natural fragrances soothe the soul. Then, move on to the “Cleansing Mind Spring,” where water jet massages help release stress and clear the mind. In the newly added “Lovely Kissing Fish” spring, playful fish gently nibble at the dead skin on your feet, allowing subsequent floral essences to fully penetrate the skin. The “Snow Skin Spring” calms and balances emotions, followed by the “Jade Beauty Spring,” where essential oils from flowers like chamomile help improve minor skin concerns. Finally, the “Crystal Spring” with its mint component tightens the skin, while the “Soothing Heart Spring” features traditional Chinese herbal flowers that uplift and relax the mood. The “Pure Skin Spring” with lavender marks a perfect ending to the hot spring journey.
Beyond soaking in floral-infused springs and enjoying floral scents, Tianlai Hot Spring Resort also incorporates a variety of natural floral ingredients into both Chinese and Western cuisines. Dishes include “Emerald Cup Chicken with Wild Ginger Flowers and Snow Fungus,” stir-fried clams with coriander, sweet and savory “Rose Beauty Ribs,” and snow-white, refreshing “Three-Shred Beauty Legs” flavored with osmanthus—these are all ingenious creations from Tianlai’s seasonal Chinese menu. The chef’s signature health-focused Cantonese clay pot soup, “Lotus Root, Red Bean, and Dried Octopus with Pork Shin,” is the grand finale.
In addition to the two-day-one-night stay packages, Tianlai also offers single-day hot spring bathing packages and private hot spring room packages. All three options allow you to soak in springs surrounded by mountains, and include a floral-themed lunch as well as discount vouchers for LuLu Spa’s floral-inspired treatment programs.
