LadyGaga to Make an Appearance at Madame Tussauds

Madame Tussauds carefully selected eight distinct looks of Lady Gaga and collaborated with her in-house design team to create wax figures that are identical to the real person. Which version of Lady Gaga will be displayed at each location remains a mystery, so fans will have to wait until the unveiling day to find out which museum features their favorite outfit.

All Lady Gaga wax figures were simultaneously produced at the Merlin Entertainment studio in London, UK. The process begins with clay modeling, followed by wax molding. A professional team then applies precise skin tones, paying attention to details such as freckles, moles, and dimples. Finally, makeup artists, hairstylists, and fashion designers add the finishing touches. Each figure takes approximately four months to create, with an investment of £150,000 per figure, totaling £1.2 million for all global Lady Gaga wax figures. The Lady Gaga figures will be displayed at Madame Tussauds locations in London, Amsterdam, Berlin, New York, Hollywood, Las Vegas, Shanghai, and Hong Kong, with a grand unveiling scheduled for December 9, 2010.
