One out of every two orchids in the world comes from Taiwan, and the ‘Lemon Green’ Oncidium, which has successfully entered the Japanese market, is also a MIT-branded flower that was among the first to seize business opportunities. The “Flowers Bloom in Taiwan – Agriculture Presents New Business Opportunities” campaign lets you learn fun floral facts and discover Taiwan’s outstanding floral technology. At the same time, the Council of Agriculture is dedicated to integrating flowers with leisure tourism. By the end of the year, a 150-kilometer-long floral sea stretching across Hualien and Taitung will be in full bloom, combining the beauty of local landscapes, cuisine, and industrial culture to leave unforgettable memories in the hearts of visitors.
