After a year of development, the Industrial Technology Research Institute’s 'Puli Smart Town Project', in collaboration with the Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area Administration, six township offices in the Greater Sun Moon Lake region, and nearly 100 tourism operators, officially launched the 'i-Slow Travel Hospitality Alliance' on the eve of the 100th anniversary of the Republic of China. Travelers no longer need to apply for a separate card — simply tap your transportation card on the 'i-Slow Travel Treasure Machine' at partner shops to access the pre-set 'Cloud Welcome Gift'. After shop verification, you can enjoy exclusive added-value perks not available to others.

The 'i-Slow Travel Hospitality Alliance' has over 100 partner businesses ready to welcome visitors from across Taiwan. From December 13 to January 16 of next year, travelers using an EasyCard, TaiwanPass, or ETC card during specific weeks can visit 11 participating shops in the Greater Sun Moon Lake area that offer 'Bonus Gifts Each Week'. The first 500 customers who tap their cards and successfully select the 'Designated Welcome Gift' promoted via the 'i-Slow Travel Treasure Machine' will receive the gift for free.

Visitors to the Greater Sun Moon Lake area can tap their cards and use the 'i-Slow Travel Treasure Machine' at alliance shops. After selecting a 'Cloud Welcome Gift', they can take a photo with the treasure machine, the shop owner, or staff, upload it to the 'i-Slow Travel' Facebook fan page, and share a short review. The netizen with the 'Most Likes' and 'Most Shares' of the month will win a 'Two-Day-One-Night i-Slow Travel Package', with free return trips to the Greater Sun Moon Lake area sponsored by alliance shops.
