Free experiences of Korean culture: Hanbok, shuttlecock, and tuho

The “Hanbok Experience” offers a wide selection of Hanbok suitable for various occasions and age groups, allowing you to freely choose and wear your favorite outfit for commemorative photos. The “Korean Name Sharing” activity lets calligraphers dressed in traditional Hanbok write your Korean name on Hanji paper. For the “Craft Experience Activity,” you can make either a Hanji shuttlecock or a Hanji bookmark (color it after stamping it with a Hanbok design or a traditional pattern). The “Traditional Folk Game Experience” will have staff explain how to play Korean folk games such as Yutnori (a board game), shuttlecock kicking, tuho (arrow throwing), spinning tops, and elephant hair hat games, and they’ll guide you through playing them smoothly. During the Lunar New Year period from February 2 to 4, TIC will give out 333 exquisitely crafted traditional Korean coin purses per day as limited gifts, and during the Mid-Autumn Festival from September 11 to 13, 333 exquisite souvenirs will be given out daily.
