Travel around the port city at an unbeatable price – the Kaohsiung MRT Land & Sea Pass goes on sale

It has been over two years since the opening of the Kaohsiung MRT, which has indirectly boosted tourism across the city. Visitors can easily explore the beautiful harbor charm of Kaohsiung. To meet the travel demand during the Spring Festival, Kaohsiung MRT, in collaboration with Kaohsiung City Bus Bureau, ferry companies, Dream Mall, Silks Place Kaohsiung, Royal Grand Hotel, British Consulate, and City Light Gallery, has issued the Land & Sea Pass. There are two types of Land & Sea Passes: “Urban Dragon Tour” and “Romantic Sea View,” with 1,500 sets of each available. Both offer several great dining discounts. The “Urban Dragon Tour” includes one Ferris wheel ride coupon, one duck boat ticket, and two round-trip MRT tickets. Originally priced at NT$420, it is now available at a discounted price of NT$260, plus coupons worth a total of NT$200 for Silks Place Kaohsiung’s 74th-floor observation deck, City Light Gallery, Royal Grand Hotel, and the British Consulate. The “Romantic Sea View” includes one Silks Place Kaohsiung 74th-floor observation deck ticket, one Kaohsiung City Ferry Company harbor cruise ticket, and two round-trip MRT tickets. Originally priced at NT$360, it is now offered at a special price of NT$220, plus coupons worth a total of NT$220 for Dream Mall’s Ferris wheel, City Light Gallery, Royal Grand Hotel, and the British Consulate.

Kaohsiung MRT Corporation stated that all facilities and coupons included in the pass can be used at any time from the purchase date until the end of March. Passes can be purchased at the service counters of 10 MRT stations: R4, R6, R8, R9, R10, R11, R14, R16, O1, and O2. Please note that the duck boat rides are limited to the Lotus Pond Line (weekends) and the Love River Line (weekdays at Dream Mall, weekends at Pier-2 Art Center), with specific operating schedules. The duck boat is not available on Mondays or during the Lunar New Year holiday (February 2–7). Seats are limited, so reservations are recommended on weekdays by phone and on-site booking is required on weekends. Harbor cruises are only available on weekends and public holidays. The Land & Sea Pass is not valid for harbor cruises during the Lunar New Year (February 3–7) or the Lantern Festival period (February 12–28).
