This year is the adorable Year of the Golden Rabbit. In addition to taking kids outdoors, there are also many educational and entertaining venues offering Year of the Rabbit-themed activities during the Spring Festival, allowing families to soak up the festive atmosphere. From now until February 7, five popular museums in New Taipei City are hosting the "Happy Rabbit (Tour love) Museum" event, featuring fun itineraries and hands-on DIY activities to enrich the New Year!

The "Happy Rabbit (Tour love) Museum" is a collaborative event organized by five major museums in New Taipei City: the Tamsui Historic Museum, the Gold Museum, the Yingge Ceramics Museum, the Sanxia History Museum, and the National Heritage Site Lin Ben Yuan Family Mansion. These institutions have come together to launch special Spring Festival activities, making the holiday both festive and intellectually enriching. The Tamsui Historic Museum has planned the "Greater Tamsui Cultural Season Series Events" and the "New Year Fortune Bag to Take Away." The Gold Museum is offering the "New Year Fortune Bag Giveaway" and the "New Year Printmaking Experience Activity." The Yingge Ceramics Museum is hosting events such as "Alice in Ceramics Land," "Rabbits Soaring with Joy on the Streets," and "Silhouette Sticker Mug Crafts."

Meanwhile, the Sanxia History Museum is running the "1,000 Lucky Owners of the Sanxia Happiness Rabbit Recruitment Campaign" and the "Peaceful Golden Rabbit Welcomes Spring." The first 100 visitors before opening on the second day of the Lunar New Year can receive a "Peaceful Golden Rabbit Necklace" handmade by the museum director, with a chance to win one of only 10 globally limited Sanxia Happiness Golden Rabbit vouchers. The National Heritage Site Lin Ben Yuan Family Mansion offers activities such as the "Art Never Ends: New Year Celebration Series," "Spring Festival Traditional Toys and Printmaking DIY," "Spring Festival Block Print Bookplate DIY," and the "Prosperity and Good Fortune Paper Sculpture Exhibition." Each museum’s DIY experiences will let both children and adults unleash their creativity, creating lasting and joyful memories.

Additionally, the Cultural Affairs Bureau has designed five limited-edition paper-cut "Handmade DIY Rabbit" creations based on museum cultural and creative merchandise: the "Prosperity Rabbit," "Golden Rabbit," "Ceramics Rabbit," "Archaeology Rabbit," and "Prosperity Rabbit." Purchase festival cultural and creative merchandise worth over NT$300 to receive one "Handmade DIY Rabbit," or spend over NT$1,000 to get a set. Limited quantities available, while supplies last.
