To ensure a comfortable, convenient, and smooth travel experience for visitors to Xilaya National Scenic Area during the Spring Festival, Xilaya National Scenic Area has implemented multiple traffic diversion measures together with the Tainan City Government, the Fifth Maintenance and Construction Office of the Directorate General of Highways, the Tainan City Police Department and its branch stations, district offices, and the Tainan County Hot Spring Association.

These measures include: 1. Establishing a Spring Festival Traffic Management Task Force to report congestion conditions to the Police Radio Station in real time, helping travelers avoid traffic jams. 2. Assigning personnel to direct traffic at congested intersections and controlling traffic lights to manage vehicle flow. 3. Providing an online vehicle flow monitoring system for Guanziling area, allowing tourists to check current traffic conditions at any time. 4. Restricting large buses from entering Meilin South Township Road 188 to maintain smooth traffic. 5. From February 3 (Lunar New Year’s Day) to February 6 (Fourth Day of Lunar New Year), free shuttle buses will be available between Xinying and Guanziling, operating daily from 8:20 AM to 5:20 PM, with one bus per hour. The service connects to key tourist spots such as the train station, Jiayi Hot Springs, Nanyuan Farm, Xilaya Visitor Center, Erwang Temple, and Lengshuijiang.

During the Lunar New Year holiday, Xilaya National Scenic Area offers a variety of activities. For example, "Floral Research in Jiangnan – Sharing Happiness" at Jianshanpi Jiangnan Resort encourages visitors to write Spring Festival couplets for a joyful and auspicious start to the year. The "Fragrant Marigold Festival" at Xinhua National Botanical Garden features large wooden insect models, cricket displays, flower fairy experiences, marigold appreciation, and other engaging activities. Nanyuan Leisure Farm presents "A Blossoming Celebration – Nanyuan Flower Expo Welcomes the New Year," offering a diverse and stunning floral display similar to Taipei’s Flower Expo without leaving the area. Xuan Kong Fa Temple hosts the "Buddhist Lantern Blessing Ceremony and Energy-Saving, Low-Carbon Gala," showcasing religious and cultural art exhibitions along with historic artifacts (like bronze carriages, jade carriages, and century-old Tibetan thangkas). Kagyu Kagyu Temple celebrates "Kagyu Temple and Xilaya: Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Republic with Activities for a Prosperous Nation," highlighting the beauty of Tibetan Buddhist art and supporting environmental conservation. Additionally, our "Xilaya Art Journey: A Feast of ‘Ge’" brings art into the community, integrates creativity into the region, and enhances local tourism.
