Prince William and his girlfriend Kate will marry on April 29, 2011, at Westminster Abbey, following their engagement earlier this year. The entire country will have a public holiday on that day, and pubs, which usually close at 12 noon, will be allowed to stay open until 1 a.m. to celebrate the most magnificent wedding of the century.

On the wedding day, the bridal procession of Kate Middleton will pass along The Mall, Horse Guards Parade, Whitehall, and Parliament Square before arriving at Westminster Abbey. This route has been used since the early 1900s for events such as royal coronations and public appearances by members of the royal family. It is often adorned with colorful flags from different countries. On the wedding day, spectators along the route will have the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the future Queen of England. The online booking site Agoda has selected a range of London hotels at various levels and price points. Travelers who wish to witness the royal wedding up close are advised to book early to enjoy more favorable rates.
