Haven’t planned anything for the Spring Festival holiday and don’t want to squeeze into crowded places? Why not take a short trip to Wulai and Bitan when the weather turns a little cooler? No need for a tight schedule—just relax, soak in Wulai’s hot springs, snack around the old street, then head to a scenic lakeside restaurant at Bitan in the evening to enjoy the water dance in comfort. You can still have a fulfilling and pleasant weekend without traveling too far.

Just a 30-minute drive from Taipei Main Station, Wulai is often called Taipei’s backyard garden. Despite the natural disaster last year, the area’s beautiful mountain and water scenery remains undiminished. When you come to Wulai, you definitely shouldn’t miss its hot springs. The spring water here is classified as neutral sodium bicarbonate, also known as “beauty water,” attracting many beauty-conscious women who come for the silky-smooth skin feel after soaking.

These uniquely designed rooms give your soak an extra special touch. The biggest highlight of these themed hot spring rooms is the breathtaking natural mountain and water scenery, allowing you to relax while taking in the beautiful views of Wulai.
