To promote these local delicacies and specialties and establish the concept of “one county, one specialty dish” as a key highlight of Taiwan tourism, the Tourism Bureau has published the “Taiwan Food Festival Handbook.” In addition to introducing the food and specialty events in each county and city, the handbook also provides information on restaurants, nearby attractions, and local gift shopping. With the “Taiwan Food Festival Handbook” in hand, visitors can easily explore and dine their way through Taiwan, turning these local gourmet delights into the most unforgettable flavors of their trip.
The Yunlin County Coffee Festival has gradually gained recognition.
The “Taiwan Food Festival Handbook” was released on April 8th with an initial print run of 100,000 copies, which will be distributed to various Tourism Bureau travel service centers for free public collection. Additionally, to bring together the diverse cuisines from around Taiwan, this year’s highlight of the food series will be the “Taiwan Food Exhibition” in August. Showcasing the full spectrum of Taiwanese flavors in a festive carnival style, the event aims to promote Taiwanese cuisine internationally and advance its globalization.
