Seasonal Highlight: Golden Ocean of Flowers in Taoyuan for a Romantic Escape

The hottest thing this season has to be the bald cypress trees!! But in Daxi, there’s a spot covered in bright yellow marigolds. hsuan had read about it online before and thought it would be super photogenic, so she decided to check it out. The only downside is that the flower field is right by the roadside, so be careful when taking photos.

Zooming in a bit, under the bright sunlight, these marigolds look even more vibrant. This sea of flowers spans an impressive 500 pyeong (approximately 1,650 square meters)!!

There’s a red rope marking the boundary—perhaps put up because people had been trampling the flowers while taking photos. Please help preserve this beautiful spot!! You can still take great shots from outside; just find the right angle and you’re good to go XD

Although the weather was perfect on the day of the visit, the wind was insanely strong!! My hat got blown away three times, and it was hard to keep my eyes open XD In the end, I’ve picked these four photos taken by my boyfriend for you all to check out hey!!
